nasdorq
I've just installed MT on a new computer. Everything works normally, though for some reason, the only symbols I can seem to get historical chart data is SPY and @ESH15. All other symbols have "No data to chart". I have @ESH15 in a portfolio connected to IB, and several symbols including SPY in a portfolio using IQfeed. I have IQfeed as the default HBF source. I'm using MT version 1.0.6770.1420. I have a feeling its something small, but I can't seem to figure it out. Do you know what this might be?
Jerry Medved
what symbols are you not able to get chart data for?
nasdorq
seems like most others. Just tried AAPL, FB, MSFT, INTC with no luck. All these symbols are streaming in the IQfeed portfolio window.
Jerry Medved
do you have MT set to auto backfill Historical? If you manually select backfill, does it fill in?
nasdorq
I had backfill set to auto. Changed to manual and tried a manual refresh but no luck.
Jerry Medved
I didn't mean for you to change the auto backfill setting. When I said backfill manually, I mean just click on the backfill button on the chart. I need to get the log file to see what the problem is. Please do the following: On right side of the status bar on the dashboard, change log level to 200. Try backfilling the historical chart for a few of the symbols. After it is done and fails go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE. Export, then email me the exported file please. Jerry Medved
If you are using yahoo for quotes, try setting it to "Use HTML Quotes" on SETTINGS / DATA SOURCES SETUP ACCOUNTS, with Yahoo selected
