Settings button is available on the Dashboard, but also from the FILE menu on Portfolios and some other screens. You can also get to the settings button by clicking the little corner button on many Sections on the ribbon. You can bring up a quick dropdown dashboard by hitting F12 on any MT window (or clicking the little multicolor icon). You can bring up the main Dashboard window by hitting SHIFT+F12. MT also has what we call a floating window icon, which is a good central access to MT stuff. It floats separately and stays up even when other windows are minimized. You can turn it on via the SETTING MENU on the main dashboard. In MT all global stuff is configured in the settings.
