non US timeframes

I am watching Canadian market - TSX, and have Timeframe on the View tab set to Canadian Equity Markets, but no data comes through on US closures.

My data source is a Canadian bank discount broker.

Do you mean RBC? 

On the bottom of the portfolio window, does it say market closes in.....? 

Did you enter the symbols into the portfolio using MT symbol format? With a :CA suffix?

on the bottom of the portfolio window where it says Market Opens in.... click on it and change the timeframe there to Canadian markets.

Just changed the time frame on the bottom of the portfolio window.

Won't know for sure if this will do the trick until the next divergence in CDN vs US holidays, but expect it will since that window still showed US market time frame!

I had previously set System Timeframes to CDN Markets in the Dashboard Settings !

That timeframe selection is portfolio specific. Basically, other than showing when the market opens/closes, it is used for Auto Refreshing sites (RBC, Yahoo, various AU sites, etc) to control when to auto refresh and when to pause (like at night or during holidays).  For some, its simple.  Other sources though, such as RBC and Yahoo are used for quotes on various exchanges.  So we set the default to the most common and then let the user switch if needed.
