gidielle
Number of trades and tick candle don't run when volume is zero as in the forex Edited February 12, 2016 by gidielle
Jerry Medved
tick charts will only work on securities that have volume. # of trades is returned directly from the datafeed. It is not computed. Not all datafeeds return that value.
gidielle
volume aren't necessary for create a tick chart, every change of last price is a new tick. Number of trades, NoT, lower indicator
Jerry Medved
ah, that number of trades. It is also dependent on ticks. Doing ticks the way you suggested would be incredibly inaccurate. What if there are multiple trades at the same price? basically, can't do that.
gidielle
I intend a tick as a new raw in RAW DATA. When bid or/and ask changes and not the last is not a new tick (but it could be considered as a tick if the trader want)
Jerry Medved
actually, MT already does something like that but only for symbols that it knows are No Volume, such as FOREX. What securities are you getting this for?

gidielle
nothing for NoT?
Jerry Medved
What is wrong with NoT? I fixed the last issue I found back on Feb 12. If you are still having a problem, send me settings + data: go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check QUOTE DATAExport, then send to me. NOTE: will be too big to email. So use a cloud storage service to share or send using http://www.wetransfer.com
