Restart TWS If that does not fix the connection, I need to get the log file to see what the problem is. Please do the following: go to FILE / Export/Backup menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio)Select “To share with others” export file protection option on top rightLeave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE.Export, then email me the exported file please. Jerry Medved Posted August 24, 2016 Report Share Posted August 24, 2016 IB on dashboard - on the main dashboard screen you can switch to SOURCES (tab on top right) to see various connections MT has and their status. rotor Posted August 24, 2016 Author Report Share Posted August 24, 2016 Oh be joyfull, Have relogged in to IB, restarted MT and all is working again. There was a problem with IB's update this morning, AVG doesn't like these updates and gives a virus warning blocker. This time I got fedup with the wait and relogged in again to IB. I'm sure that sounds garbage but is what the problem was. So much for these antivirus gizmos. Thanks so much for your prompt attention, this old fart is appreciative.
