AnotherBrian Posted July 8, 2020 Report Share Posted July 8, 2020 I entered a trailing stop $ (STP) for an open position (UBER) and sent the order. On the Medved chart, the trailing stop moves UP and DOWN with price. On the questrade chart (IQ edge, the Questrade charting app) the trailing stop only move UP. Am I missing something? Jerry Medved Posted July 8, 2020 Report Share Posted July 8, 2020 the problem is that they are supposed to return the "current" stop value. MT then shows the stop order at that level. They are not returning that value so the displayed order is just being shown as offset from current price.
