Raw Data window and Source

Is there a way to select/change data source in "Raw Data" window, like in other MT windows?

I am using IB broker and "time a& sales" sucks, but I can get raw data from other data subscription.

no, raw data window is passive. It does not request data itself. It just shows whatever data is coming in for Level I quotes from other sources selected on portfolio window.

no, that is not something that will change in the future. If you want the raw data to show data coming from another source, set a portfolio to get the data from that other source

I am considering again to sub to IQFeed or QuoteMedia.
With IB as my broker.

IQFeed or QuoteMedia should be then added to Settings > Configure Accounts
AND
"Smart Source Priority" for IQFeed to "Low/Normal/High"
and "None" for IB or the main broker account.

In order to avoid spikes on chart by having updates from multiple data source, correct?

You need to change the sources to IQ or QM on top of the portfolio window - on the toolbar. that is where the quote selection is done.

if you wish the quotes on Account View and Trade ticket to be from IQ or QM instead of IB, then also have to go to SETTINGS / TRADING / ACCOUNTS - click on IB and set the Alternate Quote Source to be IQ or QM. NOTE: Account View and Trade ticket quotes by default are not stored, so they should not interfere even if left on IB.

Have to open this again to make sure I understand correctly before I subscribe with IQFeed.

Objective:
Trade with IB exclusively from charts, but with IQFeed data in "LEVEL 2" and "RAW DATA" windows.

For "Level II" window > Toolbar > Main > set source to IQFeed
For "Raw Data" window > Portfolio window > Toolbar > Main > set source to IQFeed

Correct?
