cullinaire Posted January 23, 2021 Report Share Posted January 23, 2021 I am trying to setup my IB acct with MT, but keep getting the acct validation failed to connect message. After searching around a bit, I'm beginning to think that I am out of luck because my IB acct is the LITE version, which does not support API access, which MT requires. Is my assumption correct? Jerry Medved Posted January 23, 2021 Report Share Posted January 23, 2021 that is correct. MT integration with IB is via their main API, which requires TWS to be running and have API enabled.
