Jerry Medved
you have "Show Current Value" parameter turned off for CMF and BAVT
Jerry Medved
Also, you really should use the MT version of the symbol: @FDAXM14:DTB or @FDAXM14:EX (both will work). This way MT knows it is a futures symbol and can properly assign the timeframe
gidielle
I'm sorry. @FDAXM14:DTB (ok but I haven't the eurex data yet) @FDAXM14:EX doesn't run, (also @FDAXM14.EX or @FDAXM4:EX) thank you
Jerry Medved
for MT with Yahoo, DTB and EX will work the same way. @FDAXM14:EX works - I checked. However, you cannot have that symbol in the portfolio at the same time as the old one.
gidielle
@FDAXM14:EX had run, but it had stopped 2 hours before the close, than I have delete it, paste FDAXM4.EX end it was running.
Jerry Medved
Changing symbols is not necessary. You could just change the timeframe on the chart VIEW tab. When you say stop, I assume the issue was with charts, not quotes, since internally it is the exact same symbol being queried. What time exactly did it stop - including timezone. It should have defaulted to "EUREX DAX/EuroStoxx" timeframe, which is 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, UTC + 1 (Amsterdam, Berlin, etc)
gidielle
yes, "EUREX DAX/EuroStoxx" is the timeframe of the chart
Jerry Medved
but at what exact times did the charts stop? and is it just charts or raw data? when I backfilled using Yahoo, there was an hour gap but that is their data, not MT. gidielle
today I wasn't near pc, tomorrow I will test all day the symbol
