Please do the following: Go to FILE / HELP => Send Log/Settings to support menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio) And add this Post’s URL in the comment. Jerry Medved Posted March 23, 2021 Report Share Posted March 23, 2021 You are using Windows 7. It needs ALL Windows Updates for secure HTTP to function. Basically what is happening is MT is getting the following error whenever it is requesting something from TD Ameritrade:Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel. Usually getting all Windows updates will fix. Or better yet, update to Windows 10. If you wish to quickly check, open IE and try to login to TD Ameritrade. NOTE: Specifically IE, not Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or any other. you get the same type of error. Until that is fixed, MT would not be able to login to TD Ameritrade either.
