Option to hide the status bar

As with our other favorite program QT, I would like the option to hide the status bars. 

 

Personally I do not use them at all, and just as I will be compressing the ribbons to get more real-estate for my heavily populated watchlists, I would also like the option to hide the status bar.

Does your status bar show up on all of your watchlists or just the main window? I have six watchlists open and it only shows up on the main one. I lose two lines on one watchlist. The loss of two lines doesn't affect me as I am an EOD information position trader with trades lasting from several days to many months. I can see how it might affect someone if they are trying to watch 30 or 40 stocks at one time as a more active trader (day trader).

Yes it is showing up on all of my watchlists/portfolios....That is interesting that it is not happening for you

What version do you have? I am running 3.9.8a.

AH, I see the problem and I am sorry about the confusion.   I am referring to the beta  Medved Trader.

No problem. Looking forward to seeing the full-scale beta of Medved Trader. I have been using QT for many years. There is nothing like it out there.
