I noticed that the Portfolio will only update the data when IB Gateway for the Paper account is is open and logged in. So I need to run two instances of IB Gateway for live/Paper at all times. You have 2 of IB Gateway instances setup to allow connections through 2 different ports. in MT set the data to access the instance that is for the production.
