TraderTLV
Is there a way to see open positions in a portfolio window? All the position columns are empty even though a number of stocks in the list have open positions. (All positions do show up perfectly in the positions tab of the account view.) Jerry Medved
the columns you are seeing in the portfolio are for Manual Entry of positions. On the portfolio editor, you can enter the Price Paid and Quantity for each symbol, in which case those columns will be filled in. You can also drag/drop the rows from ACCOUNT VIEW/POSITIONS to the portfolio and MT will copy the corresponding QTY/PAID data. But it will not auto update. If you wish to have the auto updating stuff, then you would need to view it via the Account View/Positions window - you can add real-time columns in there too
TraderTLV
OK thanks. As a minimum feature request auto updating Position Qty and/or Position Value would be great in the portfolio window, but I guess if you did those then all the other missing ones could also be added.
