Trader_V
I am using my Schwab account as a data source on one of my computers and .tried to use it on my second computer as well with the hassles that have been outlined in other threads regarding logging into Schwab on multiple computers. I know there are workarounds, but I prefer to use my Webull account or subscribe to Quotemedia for my second computer in order to get stock and option chain quotes/backfilling. However, nothing I do keeps me from getting constant login requests from Schwab on my second computer even though I've set the Smart Source Priority to Never. Is there some step I've missed? How can I quit getting these messages? Thanks!
Jerry Medved
you have Schwab selected for something. Could be: Portfolio Source Index Source Level II, DOM, Depth Chart (if used to be TDA and now shows nothing selected) Backfill. If you still cannot find, send us the log
Trader_V
Hi Jerry, I just sent my log file. I tried turning off all of the Schwab data source designations I could find but am still getting the Schwab login requests. It's described better in the comment I sent with the log file. Thanks. Jerry Medved
Ya'll, if trying to remove a quote source, remember to check if you have it selected as an "Alternate Quote Source" for any trading accounts.
