Multi-Day VWAP Study

Hey Jerry!  Long time registered user here.  Still love QT and use it every day professionally.

 

One feature that many traders could really use is the ability to plot VWAP for any time frame.  This is a great feature that Realtick has and it would benefit many traders.

 

For example, it would be nice to be able to look at the VWAP for a recent IPO since the IPO date.  Or perhaps looking at the VWAP since an earnings release to see whether buyers or sellers are in control of the price action.

in MT you can add VWAP as the indicator and set the Period to "Visible". Then the VWAP is replotted to use the visible time period as the period.  So if you zoom in so the left side of the chart corresponds to the IPO date, the VWAP will be calculated with that period.
