I have followed the steps you delineated, but am still not able to color code the transactions to differentiate between the ones happening at or above the ask and the ones occurring at or below the bid. Jerry Medved Posted February 16, 2015 Report Share Posted February 16, 2015 I am sorry, I was reading too fast. That checkbox is for highlighting changes in bid/ask, not what you are asking. The color coding that you are asking for is done automatically, but only if bid/ask data is available. It is not available on most backfill data, with the exception being if you have TICK Backfill (IQFeed has it for US markets). OHLC backfill data does not have bid/ask and therefore no color coding. If you run MT during market hours getting Level I quotes on the symbol in question, it should get bid/ask data and the color coding will be shown.
