  1. I emailed you a picture of the GTIC so you can see what it looks like.

    Index Panel

How about a customizable index panel at the top of the portfolio window?
  3. Not sure if this is "bug" or just a poorly thought out design flaw. When adding or removing positions for the day, the GTIC obviously gets thrown out of whack. So I clear the chart for the day to get it to start tracking my new portfolio value. When I did this with QT the first new tick would be on the far left and the next on the far right. This would leave the GTIC filling the column. Then as more data was added the chart would shrink to fit it. When I do this same thing with MT the GTIC doesn't start at the left, it starts at the right and as data comes in it scrolls to the left. This leaves the GTIC very small and hard to read for quite a while as I wait for the data to come in.
  4. The AON, FOK, and DNR feature are available to me in QT using the same accounts that are setup in MT and I have used them without issue in QT. I do not have advanced features or futures trading enabled. I'd post a picture here but there doesn't seem to be a way to do so.
  5. I don't understand...what's an Orange Account?
  6. Settings, Trading, Accounts, Account specific setting and defaults, Order Settings Tab. For the "Default Sp. Inst." box the only choice is "-None-". Why don't selections like AON, FOK, or DNR show up?
  7. How about a pause or freeze button for the raw data window? At times I've tried looking for certain pieces of trade data but the widow keeps scrolling. This is especially difficult when it's a high volume stock.
  8. Okay so right from the get go I'm having an issue getting this to work. Before editing any colors I first wanted to make sure I could get a new color scheme to show up. I put the CUSTColorschemes.xml file right where you said to, then I merged the CustGridColorSet.reg file. Then I opened the xml file with notepad and the first thing I did was copy the entire "Pure" color scheme then paste it back into the xml file. Then in the section I pasted I changed "Pure" to "Test" (2 lines) just to give it another name. I then saved, exited, then ran MT. The color scheme "Test" does not show up in the list of available color schemes.

    Free v Paid

I far as I can tell with the free version you get to eat 7 days a week, with the paid one only 4.
  10. Knock, knock, hello...still waiting.

    Custom Colors

    Still waiting for the file.

    Custom Colors

The portfolio grid was on the top of my list, so that's a bummer. But I'll take the file and play around with it. Who knows, I might find a combination that helps us old people see the grid better.
  13. How about letting us choose our own colors for individual items instead of being locked into a pre-defined color theme?

    Trade Log Cleared?

You still up? LOL "And you were restricted to one account at a time" Was I? Hmm, I seem to remember being able to open multiple instances of QT should I happen to need one for each of my accounts. When I choose to use only a single instance, I just keep the trade tab open and quickly switch accounts via the account dropdown box. All nice and neat like. In addition to docking, it would be helpful to find a way to better control multiple windows of the same thing for the same account being opened in order to prevent duplicates from floating around and cluttering the screen. We wouldn't want to cover over that upcoming scrolling ticker tape...now would we!

    Trade Log Cleared?

Right, but to access it you have to open a new window, it's not accessible from the portfolio window. Then to view your balances, transactions or balances you have to open yet another window, the account view window. If you happen to click on "new trade ticket", or "account view" more than once then multiple windows open up. Now there are windows all over the place, some showing this, some showing that, some showing nothing. With QT all of this was accessible right off the portfolio window. You clicked the tab to open it, then you clicked the tab to close it, and they all stayed there nice and neat unless you chose to undock any of them.

    Trade Log Cleared?

That's one of the things that's keeping me from adopting MT as my primary trading platform...things are just too spread out all over the place. I'm always searching for where a feature might be hiding, that and the hard to read color schemes. Oh yeah, and don't forget the lack of a scrolling ticker tape.

    Trade Log

Nevermind with the email address I sent it to support@medvedtrader.com as listed in the program's Help section.

    Trade Log Cleared?

I actually run both MT and QT at the same time while I'm getting used to MT. I restarted QT and the trades for the day were still shown there. Rather I should say the order history since that's the MT trade log equivalent function in QT.
  20. About 4:25pm I exited MT, then realized I wanted to check something in the trade log. I started the program back up and the trade log is blank. I'm still on the same day, so shouldn't that information remain there until just before the next trading day?
  21. Several program updates and still no scrolling ticker tape. Come on guys the holidays are over, I know you can do this...chop, chop!

    Trade Log

I did a daytrade today, first by buying shares, then selling them later in the day. In the trade log window the buys and buy fill orders are listed but the sell orders along with the sell fill orders aren't there even though all shares sold. What am I missing?

    MT Dashboard

Yeah, yeah, yeah, next you'll be telling me that a scrolling ticker tape is impossible to implement.
