  1. It would be great to have a way to manage multiple work spaces to facilitate easily flipping back and forth.  I find myself wanting more screen real estate but the only way I can do that is to get more monitors (already at 3). As well if I have more windows open currently there is a performance impact on Medved.

    Options:

    1) Something similar to Questrade where you can have multiple work spaces but only one active at a time.

-be able to configure if each work space is fed live data even when minimized

-Another option would be to only have the current active work space updating, but I like the first better since you may want multiple to be updated.  Especially if you were travelling and working on a laptop where screen real estate is limited.

    2) be able to link multiple windows together into a group which you could

-enable or disable to be actively updated

               -Minimize/maximize in a single action

    Cheers,

    Jeff

  2. Hi I have noticed at times I get a bunch of alerts when there is no reason.

For DASH:VN I have attached some screen shots of alerts that I recieved after the close today. All occured after the last trade at 16:33:36

1st 3 pics were one instance.

Last two have stockwatch trade summary later on and another set of alerts that randomly popped up, notice there are 4 at once as well.  that last pic with the 4 pop ups happened well I was looking at the alerty editor window.

    Thank you,

    Jeff

  3. Hi Jerry I just checked ACB:CA which is a tsx stock and its volume from the 26th is wrong as well.  It's just showing the base TSX in Medved (which  looks like is what Stockwatch is sending) and not including alpha, chi, etc .  I attached a stockwatch screen shot as well.

Todays volume in both MedVed and Stockwatch match though, screenshots attached as well.

  4. Hi,

I have attached a few screenshots regarding the volume in MedVed.  I cleared the data and back filled but no change occurred.  On the medved chart it shows ~1.4 M volume for NNO:VN on Jan 29,2018.  However on stockwatch who is my data source it shows 2,092,098 as the total volume.  I also checked Questrade and the volume in it looks like its about ~2.x M on their chart.

  5. HI Jerry,

I am having a strange issue todya where ACB:CA won't backfill.  MedVed was slow launching today (I started it as the markets opened) so I assume it was backfilling all the symbols and trying to get all the live data coming in.  However ACB stuck.  I tried clearing the data and backfilling a couple times but it didn't work.  It seems like its working as the box pops up on the chart top right but the data never loads.

  6. Hi  Mike,

Something else I noticed was the Medved 20 SMA (center line) in the charts seems to be much more variable (not as smooth) as the one in the Questrade and Tradingview charts. A good example is the hump of the very left of the MedVed chart in the 1st post at 9:52 on the 12th.   This I assume translates back to the bollinger bands upper and lower line flow.  From an visual perspective it makes the chart more distracting to read.  Not sure if MedVed is just more accurate in its representation then the other charting tools or if they use some kind of smoothing algorithm.  I have attached a pic after the change you made already for the bollinger bands to this post.

    Cheers,

    Jeff

  7. Hi Mike,

I am just mentioning what I am seeing here as I have not done enough research on how the RSI is calculated to say which is correct.  I've attached a couple more pics of the RSI for Questrade and Tradingview to compare against Medved.  In the pics you can see neither of them have an RSI that goes above 70 for Tues 13th  but in Medved the RSI spikes up to 100.  Thoughts?

    Cheers,

    Jeff

  8. Hi Jerry,

I am not sure if this is a bug or just the way the bollinger bands are implemented in Medved. I attached a couple of pics of the same symbol across two other platforms Questrade and Tradingview. In Medved the bollinger bands don't continue to flow but drop off when there is low/no volume.

On other thing I noticed was that the RSI in Medved was quite far off what the other two had.  Eg. at 1:00pm today MT 77 with wilder checked,, 81 without it checked,  Questrade 53, Tradingview 53.

    Cheers,

    Jeff
