So if I have two charts open, both 5 minute charts of the same symbol, one displaying regular market hours and one displaying extended session and I draw a trendline alert spanning the last hour right now from 11:20am to 12:20pm I only see it on one of the charts even though the line isn't going through data that isn't available on both charts? See attached, I drew an alert line separately on each chart and it doesn't display on the other. Thanks

Hi, If you set a trendline alert on a chart that is displaying regular market hours it will not display on a chart that is displaying extended market hours and vise versa. Thanks

That is probably why many are not firing. Is there a way to make it check for triggered alerts when MT starts up so it doesn't miss them?

This is still happening everyday. In this case Apple gapped below the alert and never fired off. Thanks

I closed everything but one chart and one portfolio. The portfolio is getting data from TDAmeritrade and I disabled chart trading. I also disabled the account not in use. It still occurs. It makes MT unusable.

Looks like this may be happening if you have two IB accounts setup but only connected to one.

Yes but it's not always immediate.

No entries in the trade log. If I close MT it stops happening.
