  1.   Just happened to think of this .  Have you considered making the database searchable?

ie  Volume spike in the last 10 minutes, that sort of thing.   I know all the data is there , so other than the cpu overhead (which could be throttled) , would be a cool feature.

  2.  Well, two things happen to me.  1) I accidentally close a window, then have to recall the type of formatting it had, and reload it.

    2) I'm on the wrong window when typing a symbol and it overwrites the 'perm' symbol that's there. ES, $tick, whatever.

Don't see any downside to optionally (per window) asking if you really want to close/modify the symbol.  You can probably limit the query to just those two, as any other change would most likely be deliberate.

  3.   Any idea why the ES contract shows a 300,000 volume first bar today, after the holiday break?  Something wrong with the holiday file maybe?

Cleared and backfilled a few times.

Mostly care because it throws off the vwap calc, but just noticed setting max trade size to something large overcomes the issue for that.

  4.   Ok, like I said, been using it for months, 1st issue. Wasn't sure what the prob was, just happ to luck out and unclick tick stream after trying a few other things.

Poss for MT to detect this, and notify user? Else they will be very confused.

  5.   Strange prob today. Noticed clear/backfill 1 day caused bad chart quotes in all symbols, due to L1 quote reverting to yest close before back fill

Then , cant get ANY L1 quote on ameritrade (all stopped) though other fields like bid ask work.   Turned off stream tick quotes to fix.

First time I've seen this issue

  6.   keeping with the data theme ,  every rollover, the volume  charts get totally whacked, due to volume discrepancies between total volume and what the bars add up to . so you get this big ugly high volume bar at whatever random time  you backfill the chart.

is there no way to filter this out so it doesn't hose the chart?

  7.  Yeah, sorry, I know I could have explained it better.

This is where I think Im seeing this most often. Calling up a symbol that isn't already in an open portfolio.  Symbol loads, L2 populates, but the L1 quote that feeds the chart and displays on L2 Box does not update.  So whatever that connection is, is not completing for some reason. Too many quotes maybe?  I don't get an error message but not sure you would display that .

Happens kind of rarely, but I've seen it a couple a times a day lately.   I'll try to nail down the exact sequence of events next time I see it.
