My MT started just showing pre market data at the time I opened the app. I have to manually backfill each symbol to get pre market data from 7A.M. When I open a new chart it is automatically backfilled for previous days data but the pre market data starts at the time I started the app. If I manually backfill the data comes back to 7AM. backfill source is AMTD. Is there a setting that changed somehow that I can fix this?

amtd backfill. just noticed it on a twtr chart. changed value when i toggled back to normal candles. doesnt seem to happen all the time. maybe after charts been running for a while

seems to be related to HA chart calculations because if I switch back to normal candles it corrects. Seems similar to previously reported and fixed value problems I had on values of first 30 minute horizontal lines on HA charts.

Just noticed that VWAP value line on my Heiken Ashi chart was different on a 1 minute vs a 5 minute frequency chart. By switching the 1 minute chart to a 5 minute chart and back again to 1 minute it then shows the correct VWAP value.

when I set the qty in the trading pull down to what I want it stays for the day. Ill try restarting MT when I get a chance to see again what happens

any symbol chart that I right click on and select a "buy ask" gives me that 12.123,,, quantity. under trading accounts the defaults for quantity is qty min 100 and max 2000. round qty to nearest 10

on trading pull down, on DOM and on chart trading all default to 12.1234568. trade ticket defaults to 0 account settings for AMTD are qty min 100, max 2000

each day my trading quantities default to 12.34568 no matter what i set in trading defaults. any ideas??

candlestick chart for aapl. Lower line for first 30 min. is 178.6005 and upper is 179.9286 at 1 min frequency. At 5 min freq lower number is 178.8049 and at 30 min freq lower number is 179.08. Upper range number stays same for all periods. thanks, loaded latest last night

On my opening range indicator the values seem to change when I choose different frequencies on my chart. The larger the frequency number the bigger the offset in the range numbers. For example opening range is set for first 30 minutes high and low. The lines run across the chart with number indicators at the right end of the lines. When I change frequency the numbers change and I don't believe that should happen as the first 30 minute highs and lows are defined in the first 30 minutes.

I second the request. Just came to the forum to make the same request and saw this one from 7 hours ago!

Unless I cant figure it out it would be nice on the limit price to have the option in Settings to set a default so that every trades limit price can be set to be offset the ask by + .01 etc. Also when you open a new trade window when you type in a new symbol nothing happens. You have to click in the limit price window to get a new quote. It would be nice to be able to type in the new symbol, hit enter and the new bid ask are displayed along with the moving limit price.

It would be useful to have time frequency buttons on the top header of individual daily and historical charts, There seems to be plenty of room along the top header and then you could quickly select a weekly or daily, etc view on a historic chart or a 1 min or 5 min etc. view on the daily charts.

my stocklist updates real time but several charts are stopped and they wont real time update even after restarting MT or clearing all data and backfilling?

Hi, I understand the basics of the volume by price detailed indicator on MT (VbPd(30b,70%)) but what do the extended ranges ( yellow outlined candles with extended tails) tell you and how are they calculated? thanks

I like to keep a screen of charts minimized on my screen and then click one at a time to enlarge to full screen when needed. Sometimes when I maximize the chart I clicked on ot does not come to the front to be viewed but is enlarged behind all the other minimized charts.The only way I can then fix this is to restart the application. Any hints on what I'm doing wrong? thanks
