Troubles across the board today with AMTD. Not MT

After loading new beta today I noticed that my alert that I had set for trade confirmations thru AMTD had disappeared. I did this so long ago that dont remember exactly how I did it but thought it was thru alert editor but now have no idea how to reset?? Nice to have a ding when trades go thru.

I think I had mentioned this before but on a daily minute chart's Volume by Price indicator it would be really helpful if I could see as one of my pull down period settings the option for "Visible" just like is done on the Historical charts Volume by price indicator. This way, for example, on a daily 5 minute chart for the SPY I can adjust the charts period slider to just go back to March 23 and see exactly what levels all the volume from that date forward are at. With choices of only 1 or 2 weeks or months you cant get that granularity. thanks, Rob

Jerry, seems to be intermittent as L2 will disappear then come back and B/A will take a while to catch up to real time. On laptop its solid . Have several watchlists of approx combined 120 stocks but bear min of change % rng % and Gap% columns.

tried reloading SW - no change. Notice Level 2 window blank but when open MT on Laptop, same rev, everythings fine?

actually its delayed after a restart as well

Been noticing at the beginning and end of day the quotes on MT have been off from what I see on Think or swim which are accurate. I first assumed it was AMTD external server issues as they seem to be having problems but if I restart MT the quotes on MT go back to correlating with AMTD real time?

Jerry - FYI, Not sure if its only because AMTD happens to be responding better now but when I turned the MT chart performance down from Max to 3/4 my multiple capsule issues seems to be much better.

Thanks Jerry It works better. AMTD must be having problems as it seems that capsules stay open waiting for a server response from AMTD or something.

Did some experimenting and the DOM capsules Buy check marks, though not nearly as bad, could use some click debounce as well. Todays beta update didnt seem to fix the double orders on the chart trading capsules mentioned yesterday. FYI on the high performance mice I turned down the polling speed to min but didnt seem to help too much. Thanks for all the help. Regards, Rob

issue still persists after todays beta update. Press ,hold and release mouse button on check mark - no problems. Doing a quick click still gives two orders.

Also doesn't happen on a quick double click of a buy in a trading ticket

For some reason in the last month of so occasionally I get double orders submitted when I click the check mark on a chart trading capsule. I can make this happen reliable if I quickly double click the check mark but that's not what I do while sending an order. This has also happened while inputting sell order capsules which messes things up as sometimes I get a server response window from AMTD when it sees a double sell order . I recently upgraded to a new win 10 computer and high performance mouse but the issues is still there with a basic mouse as well. This also happens for cancelling an order with the X marks which results in a server message from AMTD. regards, Rob

Just got one of these and have been playing around with it and wondering if anyone has interfaced an Elgato Stream Deck to MT shortcuts yet? See on the web that others have interfaced it to other trading platforms. I like the enhancements made to the volume by price indicator( option exp, right side,etc) but I'm really missing the capability to select the number of days back to view. That is I can only now go back 5 days and then it jumps to viewing volume bars on only the START of each week , 2 weeks, month etc. It would be great if you could add back just the choice of 10, 15, 30 days so that I can again get a nice view of the recent pasts volume as a whole. ( example : last 30 days view no matter which part of the month today falls on. thanks

seems to be , if I log into fidelity on browser MT goes blank and wont show data till fidelity is logged off browser

not a big deal as i use fidelity as a swing account but nice sometimes to do a quick trade thru MT thanks!

Jerry, sorry, it works in MT when Im signed off of fidelity in my chrome browser. Dont remember having to do that before as in AMTD Im habe to have MT running with AMTD account open in a browser.

yes I can sign on with IE to fidelity. Will try fidelity thru MT on my win 10 laptop

In the recent past I was able to login to an alternate Fidelity account thru MT. Now it give me an account validation failed? Im using the latest MT beta on Win 7 machine. thanks

It would be nice if when two horizontal indicator lines overlap each other on a chart that one of the labels automatically offsets itself to the left or the right so that you can see both labels side by side. For example if the Indicator Horizontal line (PLow) is the same or close value on a chart as the Horizontal Line (Open) the "Open" and "PLow" labels show on top of each other on the right side of the chart. Or it would also work to be able to select the location of individual line labels along the line ( left , mid center left, center, mid center right, right) during the indicator set up.
