    Charting Spreads

I'm also looking forward to the charting of spreads in MT. It will probably be a lot of work to add this feature, but that will be a great addition when it is done. Happy New Year Jerry, Mike & MT team (not sure how many of you.) Thanks for the great work.
  3. G'morning Jerry, Did the latest MT update to 1.0.5876.2305 and the Christmas+ and New Year's+ holidays are back in the MT timeframes for: CBOT Interest(e) CME Globex, and CME Globex FX
  4. Ay okay! Updated to version 1.0.0.21 and all three timeframes were fixed. Thanks a lot! Now, go to bed
  5. Jerry, Just to clarify, on the last update, you fixed the CME Globex timeframe, but the "CME Globex FX" and eCBOT still have the "+" holidays
  6. Thanks, the 2014 holidays are back. But, the "Christmas+" and "New Year's+" holidays still show up in: - eCBOT timeframe - referred to as "CBOT Interest(e)-ZB,ZN,ZF,ZT" in MT, and - "CME Globex FX"
  7. Oh, oh! Looks like, with the update, all the 2014 holidays were deleted - the timeframes I checked were CME Globex, eCBOT, "CME Globex FX," NYMEX and ICE WTI Crude. And, the "New Year's+" holiday entry for 2015 was still there. Note: I did the update like you said, and even restarted my computer.
  8. Correct, but the days after Christmas and New Year's are regular trading days. That is, the Globex & eCBOT trading hours are not holiday hours on 12/26/14 nor 1/2/15. See the CME web links below: For Dec 26: http://www.cmegroup.com/tools-information/holiday-calendar/files/2014-christmas-holiday-schedule.pdf For Jan 2: http://www.cmegroup.com/tools-information/holiday-calendar/files/2015-new-years-holiday-schedule.pdf
  9. Hi Jerry, I noticed couple of holiday entries - "Christmas+" and "New Year's+" in the following MT timeframes: CBOT Interest(e) CME Globex CME Globex FX In all 3 timeframes: - "Christmas+" has holiday times on December 25, 2014 as 05:00 to 16:00, and - "New Year's+" on Jan. 1, 2015 as 05:00 to 16:00 It looks like those entries were included in the timeframes by mistake, since the correct Christmas and New Year's (without the "+" sign) holidays also exist.
  10. Thanks. The flexibility to choose makes it easier to satisfy the varied needs of different MT users.
  11. Hello Jerry; If possible, would like to add the option for line styles (e.g. dashed lines, etc.) for the "Time Ticks" indicator like you have for horizontal lines. Thanks in advance.
  12. Can you make it a double-click on the indicator instead?
  13. Not sure if this is where to handle this, but I'll give it a shot. In the latest version of the production MT (version 1.0.5477.2237), we can either left-click or right-click indicators to open an indicator parameter window. I like the ability to right-click on an indicator and edit its parameters. This takes 2 clicks (that's not too many clicks if you ask me.) But, left-clicking take's just one click. Will you be willing to change this - either to require more than 1 click or remove the ability to use left-clicking for this option: I have mistakenly clicked on an indicator while trying to make a chart the active one and the edit parameters window comes up. This has happened a couple of times already and is distracting while in the middle of planning a quick scalp trade. Also, I'm afraid that one can mistakenly change the indicator parameter without realizing it. Thanks in advance.
  14. ICE: May 25, 2015 - Early close at 18:30 London Time for all contracts except UK Natural Gas UK Natural Gas (IB symbol = NGF) is full day close NGF may require its own timeframe because it has different trading hours from the rest of ICE (7:00am - 5:00pm London) & tends to have different holiday hours too. I create a custom timeframe for it in MT, so if I'm the only one trading NGF here it won't be necessary. July 3, 2015 - All contracts have early close at 18:30 London Time, except GCF Repo & ICE Eurodollars I think you can ignore GCF Repo & ICE Eurodollar contracts I have installed the beta u sent and will email you on it soon.
  15. On the ICE website, they give the hours in Eastern time which is 5 hours behind London time now, so 13:30ET is 18:30 London Time on Nov. 27th and 14:00ET is 19:00 London on the 28th. Doing these time conversions can be confusing sometimes, with daylight savings changes and all, so to double-check I use http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converted.html?iso=20141127T1330&p1=179&p2=136 Note also that ICE Crude is on "ICE Futures Europe" so you can uncheck all the other market options on the ICE holiday webpage to reduce clutter on the webpage.
  16. Oh, sorry. You can find the ICE holidays at https://www.theice.com/marketdata/Calendar.shtml?calendars=Holiday&expirationEnabled=false&calendars=SpecialTradingHours
  17. That explains the missing partial day holidays in ICE WTI Crude. I thought you were done since the holidays went all the way to 2017. Note: I was looking in the Settings / Charts / Timeframes tab.
  18. Hello Jerry; FYI - There're errors in the holiday hrs for NYMEX and ICE WTI Crude, thus leaving gaps in their MT charts. The holiday hrs from their web sites are: ICE WTI Crude: (in London Time) -Thanksgiving Day -- 11/27/14, 1:00 to 18:30 -Thanksgiving Friday -- 11/28/14, 1:00 to 19:00 -Christmas Eve -- 12/24/14, 1:00 to 19:00 -New Year's Eve -- 12/31/14, 1:00 to 20:00 NYMEX: (New York Time) -Thanksgiving Day -- 11/26/14, 18:00 to 13:00 -Thanksgiving Friday -- 11/27/14, 18:00 to 13:45 -Christmas Eve -- 12/23/14, 18:00 to 13:45 In MT, the timeframes for these exchanges are read-only, so I've created custom timeframes to resolve this, but thought I'd inform you and the forum.
  19. Thanks! I noticed the addition in the latest MT version update.
  20. If possible, please add an option for "<symbol> (<period>/<freq>)" on the Intraday Caption Style dropdown menu on the 'Charts / General' tab of the MT settings page. Thanks in advance.
  21. Using the adjust scale for both hidden & unhidden indicator helps keep the y-axis on the two charts the same as price is updated during the day. See the charts in the email I sent you. This becomes really helpful when one has multiple charts with several indicators - you can split the indicators between charts to reduce cluster while keeping the y-axes the same on the charts. Note that the y-axes will be changing dynamically. Maybe you can move this topic to the feature request forum. I promise to not bother you for awhile if you include this feature - this feature helps significantly in dealing with having a lot of indicators on a chart. Please bear with me, I'm not trying to recreate QT - I understand and appreciate how much work this takes. Thanks in advance.
  22. Hello Jerry; The adjust scale option does not work when the indicator it is associated with is hidden. It worked in QT and is great function when one uses multiple indicators. I'll send you an email with pictures to illustrate.
