  1. Hello Jerry, Can we have the option to reverse the background color gradient's direction of the bottom indicator portion of the charts? So, its color gradient is a mirror image of that of the price chart. Or have the bottom indicator portion have its own background colors & gradient selections (separate from those of the main chart) in the settings menu if that's easier to implement. Thanks in advance.
  2. Is a way to satisfy alextrader777 on this to increase the delay before the "x" shows when mouse hovers on the logo? That way to bring up the dashboard user clicks on the logo, but to exit MT mouse has to hover on logo for about 5 seconds for "x" to become visible.
  3. Thanks a lot, Mike. That makes more sense now.
  4. Hello Jerry; In the VBP indicator, how does MT define POC and Mid-bar ("Mid")? Looks like: "Mid" = time-based POC, while "POC" = volume-based POC, that is the bar with largest volume. Is this correct? Thanks.
  5. Thanks. I initially bulked at the thought of losing the "adjust scale", but after thinking about it I accept that that's a good compromise. Also, users can pad the y-axis scale if they need to bring the line into focus. I really appreciate your working with me on this - hopefully others will benefit from this too.
  6. To help verify, I have the same experience as well. My sdata file is ~5GB, and as the day wears on MT memory usage goes up to almost 2GB and MT slows. The charts update realtime data fine, but clicking on an MT function takes a few seconds to respond. Also, my MT takes about 3 minutes to startup unlike the early days (before sdata file got big) when it was a snap. I have several portfolios with ~80 symbols in each and I keep up to 25 charts running during the day.
  7. Jerry, Actually the horizontal lines are saved even with fixed values - this is GOOD! Though from your reply above it does not look like that is your intent, I like that the horizontal lines are saved even with the fixed values. I think the user can always change the values to suit the symbol after loading the template - better than having to "re-add" horizontal lines each time he/she loads the template especially if one has many lines. The problem I had was when I try to load the template over an already existing historical chart, the horizontal lines disappeared. But, if I load the template as a "new chart", the horizontal lines are there with the saved values. This occurs with intraday charts also. If I may, I'd like to ask that you make the horizontal lines load with the template when loading over an existing chart. Or at least leave it as is, and not "fix" it to what you described above. Thanks.
  8. Hello Jerry; I saved some historical charts with horizontal lines as templates but the horizontal lines were not saved in the templates. I'm reporting this as a bug because my intraday templates save their own horizontal lines. Thanks.
  9. Understood. Look forward to it. When it's done, it will help reduce the acrobatics my mind has to do each time to convert decimals to ticksize while trying to determine if support will hold. Thanks for considering it.
  10. Okay, that explains the difference between how it's treated with OHLC vs candlesticks (my OHLC bar was thicker than the corresponding candlestick, so OHLC bar got outlined.) Thanks for your response.
  11. Hi Jerry; Not sure what this option is in the settings menu, but I used to assume it would cause the outlining of a candle or price bar when the bar Open = bar Close. I've checked & unchecked this option but did not notice any changes to the candles. For OHLC charts when a bar's Open is equal to its Close, the bar and tail are yellow. But with candlestick charts, if the candle has a tail the candle is green (the candle is yellow if it does not have a tail.) Is there a way to make the candle bars yellow when the bar Open = bar Close and it has a tail?
  12. On Windows 8.1, my scroll wheel works like Jerry described.
  13. Jerry, Please it would be nice to have the option to display price as fractions for certain instruments like CME treasury futures which are quoted in 32nds (i.e. each tick is a multiple of 1/32)? Can display the price as a mixed fraction, or just the whole number & numerator (e.g. 170-1/32 or 170-01.) Note: I had made this request as part of another forum discussion - don't recall where, so creating its own forum topic. Thanks in advance.
  14. Hi Jerry; Please can you add the option to not show current values of the detailed version of the Volume by Price indicator (VbPd)? Thanks in advance.
  15. You are probably right. I don't recall, but I may have set the @6*.* symbols to CME Globex FX by myself when I first uploaded them in December.
  16. The symbol that worked for me was @EURH15:GLOBEX Then, select the "CME Globex FX" timeframe otherwise the symbol defaults to the "CME Globex" timeframe which is different.
  17. Okay. Can we add an option to "set to default" to include indicator colors? Then the user can set colors that don't conflict for his/her frequently used indicators. Thanks in advance.
  18. Not sure if this is a bug or was deliberate, so will post this as a feature request: Would like to include indicator colors to default when "set to default" is clicked on the indicator panel of "main chart" indicators. This currently works for indicators in the "Usually on Separate Chart" section e.g. MACD, RSI; but does not work for indicators in the "Usually on Main Chart" section like Bollinger bands. Thanks in advance.
  19. G'morning Jerry; Did you get the email I sent with holiday settings for MT on Friday?
  20. Thanks. Can I make that a feature request?
  21. Hi Jerry, In MT, is there a way to show the price format as a fraction for certain instruments, e.g. UB or ZN, on the charts?
