historical charts

Historical charts don't always automatically start with  dynamic Y axes( which is where they are set). Only sometimes.

could you have saved the default with one of the other options specified? there is nothing in MT that changes it other than the default. If you have a way to recreate, send us the exported settings and indicate the exact steps please.

How do I  (did I ) set the default ?

Where do I find  what default was set for Y axis/

the way to set chart defaults in general is to configure one chart the way you want the default to be set (window size, chart type, frequency, indicators, etc, then on the chart ribbon, TEMPLATES tab, there is  button for setting default. if you click it, all new windows after that will use that chart's setting.  only other thing is, if you click and drag on the Y axis, that will change the Y Axis from Dynamic mode to one of the other.

.Ok on some,but not all charts use available space.

go to FILE / Export Settings. 

Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE.

Export, then email me the exported file please.
