Jerry Medved
the anchor can be moved to a fixed point in time or can be set to always be on the left edge of the visible data (via right click option). If it is set to a fixed point in time, then when the market opens and that time scrolls off the chart, the anchor will not be visible. jschwa
Do I understand correctly ? If during the day I set the anchor at a time convenient to me ,it may disappear the next day? Do I need reset it to the left edge before I exit.?
Jerry Medved
Yes, if you put it at an absolute time, then that is where it will stay until you move it. You can right click on it and select to set it to the left edge of the chart, in which case it will automatically adjust as data is scrolled in /out of view
jschwa
Personally I'd like it better if the default would be "move to left edge" rather than "disappear" Alternately , Whats the quickest way to restore the anchor once it's lost ? Thanks JS
Jerry Medved
That is the default. Unless you drag the anchor to an absolute value to change it from the default. The anchor is part of the "Compare To Symbol..." indicator. So if you right click on that indicator legend, the option to reset the anchor is in that right click menu as well, so you can get to it even if the anchor is not currently visible
