dougalvord@gmail.com
I expected to unravel this eventually intuitively, bot not so far. What does the 1* at the top of option chain perform? Is there a way to show the options for $spx and $rut?, SPXW, spxpm etc don't work for me, and neither do spx, $spx $spxw, etc etc. Option combos orders in IB do not show in the MT transaction window, at least with iron condors in my hands. Thanks-I am loving MT!. Windows 10, IB Yahoo finance.
Jerry Medved
the 1*.. is for being able to collapse/expand sections on the chain. Options on $SPX and $RUT should work with IB. I checked and $SPX works. $RUT not quote. First, the symbol would be $RUT:RUSSELL (MT doesnt default the port for that one. I will need to change that). And when I tried to get the chain, it came back with nothing (after a looonnnng time - IB's Option chains are slow). Will look MT does not currently support multi-leg orders.
