Color change for News window?

Default color for the News window is black background and and orangish text color - sorta hard on this old man's eyes - I don't see any way to select different colors for News, although every other window has "View/Color Sets" link in the ribbon section - can you add that code to News as well, please?

The news window uses the system default color set. You can go to SETTINGS / APPLICATION / Appearance screen, and in the GRID section, change the Default Color Set to the one you like.

I just tried all sorts of combos of Office Black/Silver/Blue and color sets like Easy, Sunny, etc, and nothing changed the text color in the open News window - all the other windows changed to my selections as soon as I hit "apply" - doesn't appear to work for News window?
