mnewton Posted November 29, 2016 Report Posted November 29, 2016 Have a portfolio (A) with a stock listed say IBM. have another portfolio (B) with the same stock IBM drag IBM from (A) to (B). IBM is deleted from A in (B) IBM is duplicated Quote
Jerry Medved Posted November 29, 2016 Report Posted November 29, 2016 ok, that works as intended. If you do not want duplicates to show in a portfolio, go to the portfolio editor and check the Consolidate checkbox on the bottom Quote
mnewton Posted November 29, 2016 Author Report Posted November 29, 2016 The consolidate box is checked. Quote
Jerry Medved Posted November 29, 2016 Report Posted November 29, 2016 checked for which portfolio? the source or the target? It needs to be checked for the target portfolio Quote
mnewton Posted November 29, 2016 Author Report Posted November 29, 2016 unchecked for the cource checked for the target Quote
Jerry Medved Posted November 29, 2016 Report Posted November 29, 2016 when you say it is duplicated, do you mean on the table where the quotes are showing, or in the portfolio editor only? Quote
Jerry Medved Posted November 29, 2016 Report Posted November 29, 2016 that is as intended. the Consolidate is for consolidating multiple entries for the same symbol in the portfolio when displaying it Quote
mnewton Posted November 29, 2016 Author Report Posted November 29, 2016 if i try to move a symbol to another portfolio it doesn't move and it is now pinned with the 'unable to pin' symbol whenever i mouse into that portfolio I cant remove the 'unable to pin' icon Quote
Jerry Medved Posted November 29, 2016 Report Posted November 29, 2016 We do not have any such text ("Unable to pin"). Really have no idea what you are referring to. Send a screenshot via email Quote
