BlueCollarDayTrading
Is trading within MT able to use Simulated mode for testing and training. Using the Trading feature in MT in either Live or Sim mode would be great for getting use to the new Chart Trader, DOM, and order entry? If it is not will it be added in the future? 0 Jerry Medved
MT does not have its own simulated mode, but it does support it if the broker you select has it. The ones that do are: Interactive Brokers Ally Invest (MB Trading) GAIN for IB, if you login to TWS with a Paper Trading account, then that is the account all MT orders will go to For Ally Invest (MBT) - You would want to select the Paper trading account. for Gain - if you have an account on the Simulator system, then add that account in MT and make sure to add SIM: prefix to the user name when entering the login.
