makito Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 Is anyone having a problem with RBC not updating quotes? Quote
krusty316 Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 Yes. RBC did an upgrade over the weekend and MT probably needs to apply a fix for it. Quote
Jerry Medved Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 I need to get the log file to see what the problem is. Please do the following: 1) set logging level to 200 (bottom right of the main dashboard window) 2) Refresh the portfolio once 3) set logging level back to 10 Now go to FILE / HELP => Send Log/Settings to support menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio) And add the Post URL in the comment. Do not check any check-boxes. Quote
krusty316 Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 ok. not sure if i did it right. What's the post URL? Quote
makito Posted October 30, 2017 Author Report Posted October 30, 2017 I assumed he meant the url of this post we are talking in Quote
Jerry Medved Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 FINALLY, got it to work. Big thanks to @makito for helping with this and to @krusty316 for sending the log/files. To update, select FILE / HELP => Check for updates. Let MT update all files. Restart MT. NOTE: even if nothing was updated. After that, quotes should work. I checked US stocks, Canadian stocks and Index symbols. Not sure about futures. If you have something that is not working, please give me details, including the exact symbol entered into MT., NOTE: with their new setup, I may be able to read news as part of the quotes (not as a separate setup ). Will look at that Quote
krusty316 Posted October 30, 2017 Report Posted October 30, 2017 Working for me Much appreciated Quote
