wyldegoos Posted February 11, 2014 Report Share Posted February 11, 2014 Jerry, I downloaded the latest update today then went to check my positions in my "Portfolio" portfolio. The portfolio gives today's data, but the daily charts do not update to include today's data. I tried my normal backfill (Google Finance), then tried Yahoo Finance. I also tried clearing the charts and backfilling fresh. But no matter what I tried, I could not get the chart to include today's data. Many backfill sources including the ones you tried do not include the current day in the EOD data because it is not complete yet. MT has an option for Real-time updates on historical charts. if that is selected, then MT builds today's candle on the historical chart from the Level I quote Open, High, Low and LAST. Am I correct in understanding that if I want to use the "auto backfill historical" box, then I need I need to wait until later in the evening?
