Usually happens if you are connected in two places at the same time. for example, if you hare connected with a live account in TWS, mobile or webisite and then at the same time connected with a paper trading account in another TWS that MT connects to. on a separate note - option chains with IB - IB is max 100 symbols. Each option chain window can have A LOT of symbols subscribed. Size the window so it only shows the minimum that you need or you will max out the 100. sigh.
