gnc Posted August 10, 2020 Report Share Posted August 10, 2020 When "Auto-transmit" is checked in charts, user first clicks on one of 4 BUY/ASK buttons in Trading tab OR to press assigned keyboard shortcut in order to instantly place an order. Are these 2 functionalities only ones that will allow user to place instant order OR is there any other action on the chart when user can accidently click something/somewhere/somehow, resulting in instant order? AND where is "Default Route" in Chart > Trading tab? (Requirement from Questrade for extra hours). AND from 4 BUY/SELL buttons Chart > Trading tab, what's the default for green "BUY" button, buy market or limit? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jerry Medved Posted August 10, 2020 Report Share Posted August 10, 2020 instant orders- the ones you indicated, plus there are shortcuts for buy bid, sell ask which immediately send the order if Auto Transmit. may add others Route - right now do not have an option for that on chart trading 😞 BUY ASK - places a BUY order at the ask. where as BUY initiates the order placement and you have to do one more click to actually place the order at the price you want. The order type you would specify before hand, though default is LIMIT.
