Kir
Hi! I'm trying to use a saved order. But when I try to save the created order, it is immediately sent it to the broker. Although the parameter Send = false and Drop = false. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Kir
Jerry Medved
Huh? What are the exact steps that you are using? where are you saving the "Saved Order"?
Kir
I use the link "Saved orders" from "Trade ticket". Then dropped menu and I press "Create New Saved Order". I fill a "Saved Order Editor" form as shown at attached screenshot. Then press "OK". It saved at "Saved Order" list. And then I press "Saved orders" from "Trade ticket" again. Then menu dropped and I press "Fill in the Trade Ticket" icon, not "Send the Order". Then order immediately send to broker.
Jerry Medved
1) unrelated to your problem, but you don't want to have absolute values for limit and stop price. That would defeat the purpose of having saved orders. 2) I need to get the log file to see what the problem is. Please do the following: Go to FILE / HELP => Send Log/Settings to support menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio) And add this Post’s URL in the comment. Kir
Reply for 2): I send the log file and add this Post'sURL in the comment. for 1) Why not? When a certain event occurs, I want to select a previously saved order from the list and immediately send it to the broker. I don't want to fill it out manually and I don't want to send it to the broker in advance. I thought this was one of the ways to work for saved orders. The hotkeys were designed to be symbol-agnostic, so when you specify the order, the limit/stop values could be specified relative to the symbol's price, bid, ask, etc. Specifying absolute symbol, limit and stop values is counter to that idea. I mean sure you can do it but... BTW - we fixed the problem. Jerry will update the install and contact you to get it.
