Quotes don't update

I'm seeing these problems

 

1:.. symbol quotes in portfolios not updating always until i click on the symbol or open an intraday chart.

 

2:  this prevents me from having an accurate chart of intraday portfolio value

 

3:  a portfolio using interactive brokers as a quote source does not show symbols having the same price as shown in my TWS

                 This is obvious at the end of the day

 

Am i doing something wrong or what?

the quotes are either not started on the portfolio, or you don't have Interactive Brokers selected as the datasource.look on the top left of the portfolio window on the ribbon. There will be a stop or start button. If it says start, click on it. Right below it, you should see a drop down list with a choice of data sources. Make sure Interactive Brokers is selected

I guess I didn't hit Start.

 

Every time I switch to another portfolio it reverts to "Start"

 

Shouldn't this be Started  by default?
