Time range on intraday chart

On my 2m intraday chart there are options for different number of days, eg 2 days, 4 days, 10 days etc. For each one, if I zoom out, the maximum time period I get is less than 12 hours. How do I get the full time range?

you have to have the actual data to show on the chart. Any quotes MT gets on portfolios & Charts are stored and used for charting. Also, most sources provide backfill and MT by default automatically backfills the chart when you open it. What quote source are you using?

Any ideas on why I don't get the full time range - is it TDA?

1) check what the max # of days is set to on SETTINGS / CHARTS / GENERAL

2) check max # of backfill days on SETTINGS / DATA SOURCES / CONFIGURE ACCOUNTS - click TD Ameritrade, will be on right

if both are OK, then which specific symbols? 

if not resolved, send us a log and we can check

Ok, I found I had selected 2 days of data...
