We cannot even assume that the first quote at 4:00 is the close price. Jerry Medved Posted June 8, 2014 Report Share Posted June 8, 2014 For the historical charts MT has an option (on by default) for real-time updates. If selected, the last candle is built from the level I quote Open, High, Low, and Last. That would include after-hours data. Jerry Medved Posted June 23, 2014 Report Share Posted June 23, 2014 that would just add more confusion because come 4:01 suddenly the chart shows stale data for the last candle and would remain so until the Hist Backfill site updates AND you backfill.
