Pete Posted May 2, 2023 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2023 (edited) It didn't work at all, the new app is very simplistic, under settings the only option was color settings as compared to the hundreds of things you can configure in TWS (including the various API settings that I was looking for) On the plus side installing it did not appear to impact the existing TWS software in any way so they appear to be completely independent (albeit you can only run one or the other with the same username at the same time) Hopefully this new offering is something for inexperienced customers and not the new direction that IBKR is going, I might play around with it more during off hours to see if there is more than initially appeared.
