mlsignups
I run two Medved screens right now. On my primary screen I have my watchlists and a daily, 5 minute and 60 minute chart for equities. On the 2nd screen I have about 30 charts that are the primary ones i'm watching. I start the day on a 1 minute basis for them, then switch to 3 minutes an hour or so in, then 5 minutes a bit later. I've found the tool under templates that allows me to switch one chart from 1 min to 3 min under "Sync Open Charts" and Sync Frequency which is great. I also turn VWAP on and off so being able to sync indicators is great. But, i really don't want them to impact the 5 minute and 60 minute charts I have in my primary window. Is there a way to do that; i.e. have 30 intraday charts change but not another two? My main 3 charts (daily, 5 min, 60 min) + all my watchlists are under one linked group; my other 30 are not. I was wondering if there was some way now or if you'd consider adding a way to sync but only those that are in the same Symbol Link Group as an option? Thanks
Jerry Medved
no, cannot do that with sync option. Just save multiple layouts and switch between them
mlsignups
thanks. not really an option unfortunately as i jump back and forth between watching them. i'll just keep doing what i was doing - which is manually updating the 2 other charts each time. would be nice to consider a flag to allow you to flag which charts should change and which should not. Jerry Medved
if its just 2 charts, switching each with a keyboard shortcut is one keystroke - would be faster.
mlsignups
yes; that's what I do; it's not that hard just looking to see if there was a way to eliminate that step. thanks
