ehjump Posted December 25, 2014 Report Posted December 25, 2014 Hi Jerry, I noticed couple of holiday entries - "Christmas+" and "New Year's+" in the following MT timeframes: CBOT Interest(e) CME Globex CME Globex FX In all 3 timeframes: - "Christmas+" has holiday times on December 25, 2014 as 05:00 to 16:00, and - "New Year's+" on Jan. 1, 2015 as 05:00 to 16:00 It looks like those entries were included in the timeframes by mistake, since the correct Christmas and New Year's (without the "+" sign) holidays also exist. 2 Quote
Jerry Medved Posted December 26, 2014 Report Posted December 26, 2014 No, those are correct. Remember that the overnight session's date is when it starts, so "the night before". So, the regular Christmas entry is on the 24th. The Christmas+ entry on the 25th is the half day entry for the day after Christmas. Quote
ehjump Posted December 26, 2014 Author Report Posted December 26, 2014 Correct, but the days after Christmas and New Year's are regular trading days. That is, the Globex & eCBOT trading hours are not holiday hours on 12/26/14 nor 1/2/15. See the CME web links below: For Dec 26: http://www.cmegroup.com/tools-information/holiday-calendar/files/2014-christmas-holiday-schedule.pdf For Jan 2: http://www.cmegroup.com/tools-information/holiday-calendar/files/2015-new-years-holiday-schedule.pdf Quote
Jerry Medved Posted December 26, 2014 Report Posted December 26, 2014 y, fixed that. I updated the configuration files - Select HELP / Check for updates. Get any updates, then restart, even if there were none. Quote
ehjump Posted December 26, 2014 Author Report Posted December 26, 2014 Oh, oh! Looks like, with the update, all the 2014 holidays were deleted - the timeframes I checked were CME Globex, eCBOT, "CME Globex FX," NYMEX and ICE WTI Crude. And, the "New Year's+" holiday entry for 2015 was still there. Note: I did the update like you said, and even restarted my computer. Quote
Jerry Medved Posted December 26, 2014 Report Posted December 26, 2014 no need to restart computer. Just fixed that. Do the update again, same way I instructed above. Quote
Jerry Medved Posted December 26, 2014 Report Posted December 26, 2014 sigh. one more time. Third time is a charm Quote
ehjump Posted December 26, 2014 Author Report Posted December 26, 2014 Thanks, the 2014 holidays are back. But, the "Christmas+" and "New Year's+" holidays still show up in: - eCBOT timeframe - referred to as "CBOT Interest(e)-ZB,ZN,ZF,ZT" in MT, and - "CME Globex FX" Quote
Jerry Medved Posted December 26, 2014 Report Posted December 26, 2014 y, that last change was for globex only. I just changed the other 2 Quote
ehjump Posted December 26, 2014 Author Report Posted December 26, 2014 Jerry, Just to clarify, on the last update, you fixed the CME Globex timeframe, but the "CME Globex FX" and eCBOT still have the "+" holidays Quote
ehjump Posted December 26, 2014 Author Report Posted December 26, 2014 Ay okay! Updated to version 1.0.0.21 and all three timeframes were fixed. Thanks a lot! Now, go to bed Quote
