0 Saty
That Ribbon Control has drawbacks. That developer didn't do a good job with it.
0 Jerry Medved
The ribbon control follows Microsoft specs. If you compare the results to Microsoft Office apps, you will find that they match
0 carlisle
@Saty, You can reduce that yourself in your windows setting and it will be applied to all windows.
0 Saty
Deomega, I don't know where is that particular setting for the Title. I am using Vista in Classic mode. All of the OS windows Title bars have normal width in Vista OS Classic mode, However, the Excel, Word, and Powerpoint have wider Title bar width. But other non Microsoft software shows the normal width. For example, Firefox title bar has normal width. So, if we can manipulate the Title bar through the OS setting, then I wonder that would also narrows down the Normal width of other applications. Anyway, I will try it, So, where is that option? 0 carlisle
I am sorry but actually, I just confirmed that it does not work for MT, but works for other programs. I also do not like wasted space so I usually decrease those things overall in windows, but looks like though the title bar text etc were changed, MT keeps its size. You can see for yourself: right-click on desktop, select personalize,/windows color/advanced appearance settings and just click on the areas you want to re-size. eg: You can try active title-bar and menu bar are size is 15, with the font size 8. Scroll bar width is 10.
0 Saty
Yeah, it doesn't work for MT In fact it decreased the Firefox normal Title bar width as I expected.. When we resize the Graph to a smaller size to accomadate several graphs at a time, this MT Title bar wasting some area. As long as that Ribbon Control is there, he can't program it.
