  1. The dots are more obtrusive when your candle is larger so when the dots are larger. What about changing from half to 1/4 but leaving the mins the same? That is if I am following the calculation logic correctly. Cheers, Jeff
  2. Hi Jerry, I've attached a screen shot. SPY spiked over 280 at 13:53 today according to the chart data but it isn't captured in the watch list high for the day data. I tried to look back through the raw data but couldn't find any record of the spike. Also check another source and don't see it. Cheers, Jeff
  3. Would be great if symbol with alerts could be tracked automatically even if you don't have a watch list open for them. Seems that if you don't have a watch list open for a specific symbol that has alerts set there is no tracking for the symbol data so no alerts go off. Don't know if its feasible due to MedVed supporting multiple data sources but an option might be a pseudo watch list created in the background for any stock with an alert set. Thank you, Jeff
  4. Add the ability to adjust the size of the PSAR dots or have them scale and stay much smaller. They take over the chart and make it hard to read currently. Thank you, Jeff
  5. When I do a clear data with Questrade the MktCap & AvgVol repopulated immediately as the data begin to reload. I tried what you said and loaded a historical chart and it did populate AvgVol on my watch list using Stockwatch. So It looks like AvgVol with Stockwatch only populates when you load a historical chart. With the Questrade API as soon as I clear data all stocks in the Watchlist reload and have the AvgVol populated. I captured a backup with quote data yesterday (Friday)related to ShOutst and Mktcap. I will send an email with the link. No idea if the regular logging level in it is useful with what occurred over the time periods. Watch list: Main 10:15 cleared 10:30 Mktcap, shareoutst, avgvol not populated , ran backfill none populated 10:56 historical backfil AvgVol populated 11:29 noticed MktCap and Shareout finally populated Watch list: Lithium 11:05 clear and backfill and historical backfil AvgVol populated 11:29 ShOutst and Mktcap still not populated 13:55 ShOutst and mktcap were populated Cheers, Jeff
  6. Hi Jerry, I was reaching out to Stockwatch about another issue around missing premarket data (which btw they said was broken and is now fixed), and asked about the Avg Vol and Mkt cap data in the API feed. They indicated "The API can provide shares issued as well as historical volumes, so MedVed should be able to calculate AvgVol and MktCap". Is it feasible to utilize the other data to have Medved populate Mktcap and AvgVol? I do see shares outstanding populating in MedVed when I add that column. Cheers, Jeff
  7. Should I put a post in the feature requests section? Jeff
  8. Will do. I have only noticed/realized this yesterday and today when the markets opened. It might have happened before and I just cleared the data without knowing. I didn't clear or backfill anything yesterday eve or this morning before I saw it occur. I do have a backup that should have some logs pre clearing and backfilling. I will email you a link to them. I don't think I had logging up but might have. Jeff
  9. Is there any way to filter out specific news sources? Google for example has lots of sources that are useless eg. GOOGLE (thestockrover.com). I'd essentially like to filter out this specific source from the google feed not all of google news. Thank you, Jeff
  10. Ya actually I noticed that yesterday and forgot. Stockwatch. Jeff A couple of the charts had data till the end of the day yesterday morning before I cleared them.
  11. Hi Jerry, Yesterday and today I had to clear all data to get my feeds running for raw data and on the charts. The watch list looked to be updating and alerts were popping up. Once I cleared the data they started to run. I have since quit the app but took a backup. Can upload help->support if its still good after the restarts of the app as well. Jeff
  12. At this point I can't find any sample data with discrepancies. I will update if I see it again. Jeff
  13. Hi Jerry, Mkt Cap and Avg Vol are not populating from the Stockwatch source feed in the watch list. If I flip the watch list source over to Questrade they populate immediately. I did try clearing data but they never populate with Stockwatch. Jeff
  14. Understood. Just figured I would check in case the data in "C:\programdata\2GK\Medved Trader" was written to often and did have a way to configure/move it. Cheers, Jeff
  15. Hi Jerry, Is it hard coded for MedVed to convert the Questrade Cdn to USF in account view? Jeff
  16. Hi, I moved my installation of Medved to a faster ssd drive on my machine, but noticed some files are still stored in "C:\programdata\2GK\Medved Trader". Is there any way to redirect these to another location? Thank you, Jeff
  17. I'd add to that request integration with sms alert provider(s). Would be a huge benefit since the platform is only available on your PC. I currently have them with Questrade and its really useful when you are away from the trading platform. Cheers, Jeff
  18. Hi Jerry, Couple of things I found: -Regular TSX symbols are being mapped in the MedVed account view for Questrade accounts to :CA, but others are not getting an extension added in the potions tab. Eg OGI shows as OGI not OGI:VN,. I don't have any :CSE stocks but possibly they are not mapping either. Due to this no quote or value is being displayed in the potions tab. -Looks like my Cdn accounts from Questrade in account view(balances) are being converted to USD in MedVed. Any way to view them in CDN without conversion. Eg: In Questrade cdn account Buying power 13,243.74 but in MT its 10,728.89. Thank you, Jeff
  19. Thanks Jerry, Looks like you mentioned the same thing I found, sorry I missed your message before responding Jeff
  20. Solved why MedVed was constantly stealing the data feed from Questrade. I had the indexes in the top of the watch list window still connected to Questrade as a data source therefore that was activating the market data for Questrade. If you have nothing linked to market data in MedVed then you can still access the Questrade account and trading without stealing your data feed from Questrade. Looks like if you go to the account view for Questraede in MedVed and open the positions page, MedVed requests info (assuming a quote for the securities) from Questrade and steals the market data feed from Questrade well you are on that tab and for a minute after. Still wondering if there is anyway to Block MedVed from using the data feed in Questrade completely. I guess as well is there a way to assign the account view to use the default or defined data source instead of Questrade for Quotes. Thank you, Jeff
  21. Hi, Is there a way to disable just the martket data requests through the API to Questrade but still have access to account info and trading of stocks? Thank you, Jeff
  22. Hi, I am looking to move from Questrade data source to Stockwatch.. I noticed by comparing the two data feeds for Raw data(lTime and Sales) that some was missing in MT from the Stockwatch feed. Missing the line 15:03:43 M 0.485 -0.055 85 9 BMO Nesbitt 7 TD Sec It shows in the Questrade feed and in the Stockwatch web page, but not in the MT Stockwatch data feed. Missing the line 14:10:03 0.47 375 TSXV It shows in the Questrade feed and in the Stockwatch web page, but not in the MT Stockwatch data feed. One more 14:43:32 0.48 10,000 Same thing shows in QT, Stockwatch web but not in MT. Taken at 14:47. I cleared data and back filled for this one. Pics too big to upload,if I shirnk them you can't read the font, want me to email them? Do you want support files sent? Scroll bars up all the way this time! Thank you, Jeff
  23. Shoot my bad. ACB earlier in the day I had no data. I will get you another sample if it happens again. Jeff
  24. Hi The data feed for Dash.vn hung for me even though other stocks still had raw data flowing eg. acb:ca. ACB actually hung earlier today as well. I have had to quit the application completely and start it again and the feeds start again. Using Stockwatch for data. I think I did a sent log/settings to support. I got an error when MT restarted. I also took a backup so I can provide that if the logs don't come through. Thank you, Jeff
  25. Just resent logs for you as well. Jeff
