Could you add code to force an auto re-login after market open, shouldn't hurt anything should it, but then we wouldn't need to manually do it eveyday if we leave the medved open over night. I'll try and remember to check tomorrow to see if the relogin can be done before market open.

ARCA Snapshot is logging in ok but I am not getting any data populated for the depth charts. Seems to have started up today or yesterday.

Woudl be great if the X in the dashboard dialog would exit the medved application as most app do. I find every once in a while I accidentally click it thinking it will close the app, as well if you have another tab in the dashboard open eg sources, you have to go back to the main dashboard tab to exit.

Forgot to mention when I did that last backup for the random alerts Medved opened up and my color scheme for my two Raw data windows changed back to sunny from night. First time this has happened since we looked at it weeks ago. Jeff

I see that I can search "news" in the alert window but its not very visual friendly since things are different lengths. ie titles start at different places on each line. All news isn't quite what I am looking for since it has news about all stocks even ones not in my portfolios. Something along the same lines as all news but for all Portfolios news would be great. Using the clear button on the alert pop ups doesn't really fit the bill either since I may leave a bunch of dialog boxes open till I get around to reading them then I miss the news alerts coming after them. A work around is to click news and then always check the symbols current news, but in that case I always get a new news window pop open instead of the one I already have open so I have to close the new one once I look. I see the eraser in the dialog, guess I should just be using that instead of Xing out the dialog box.

Hold on a sec...thinking about this some more. If I close the symbols popup box for news does that not clear the symbols news flag so new news should pop up currently?

K this is likely due to me setting my news alerts to only close manually instead of after a period of time. Is there a way to have the alert clear after x minutes but the dialog popup box with the news stay up till closed? Maybe an enhancement request to add another check box in the alerts setup to make this possible? Think I already asked this but is there a way to get a view in the news window of all the symbols news rather then just the active one? Tired control selecting multiple symbols but that doesn't work. So basically if during the day there were many news alerts and I closed the pop up for the first one but didn't go into the alert manager and cleared alerts I would not see another news instance for that symbol? eg stock halted then unhalted New pops up for stock being halted, I close the dialog or the timeout occurs I don't go to alert manager and clear all alerts by clicking clear News comes for the unhalt, I wouldn't get an alert for that stock. Another instance of alerts going off when I don't have a alert set at that level. Alert was for 8.04 but the alert says price past 8.08 (which is a valid alert just no where near the price) On dropbox 2018-05-03-ACBRandomalerts

Every morning I need to go to sources and right click ARCASNAP and relogin, (I leave Medved login in overnight usually so its open first thing). Is there any way to make it autologin periodically? Seems like it can't login after hours and then stays logged out unless you force a relogin manually.

Would it be possible to have Medved use another instance of Medved as a data source? My thought is I have a couple of machines running and I would like to be able to run a second instance of medved and get some data from my first.

Hi Jerry, anywhere we can access the Alerts such as @clockeraser mentioned in a file somewhere? What about the possibility of the api being able to provide alerts then we could port them to our own notification system such as text messages etc.

Added another copy of the log after a restart of the app the depth chart for grat:vn was stuck again. I had to kill medved. v2

Might have spoke too soon, I just tried to modify a depth chart and it hung. Basically I tried to add the top bids to the Depth chart for Grat:vn which was an existing chart. It become slow and unrepsonsive but came back after a bit. I also then tried to add a new depth chart for NDM:CA and it was non responsive for a bit then comes back so I can work again. Posted the current log in dropbox. MTLog2018-05-01.log Jeff Also just pushed a send support files via the front end.

Wasn't able to backup anything but I did after a few attempts get an autobackup restored by double clicking on them since it automatically launched the app and brought up the import dialog. So looks like I am good again.

I was adjusting some of my windows and added a depth cart and that window got "stuck" so I couldn't interact with it or close it. I was able to partially use other windows but then when I tried to exit everything in Medved hangs. I restarted and the same thing is occuring as the new window shows up and is stuck. I also cannot restore a backup. Any ides on how to get me going again? Also I can't upload a screenshot since the forum window is saying I can't upload anything larger then 30.7 kb.

. Not sure what up I was going to post the alert window screenshot but keep getting a message I can't post a file bigger then 30.72 kb.

K, so if I have percentage alerts eg 5 or 10 % across my stocks of an open portfolio, should I expect those to go off when medved is open and running or would I need to go and click on the symbol to get them to go off? or should it do both. Eg Bud:VN I opened Medved and two alerts went off for BUD:VN as everything started loading about 20 minutes ago as I had quit medved and reopened it. for 5 and 10% change. Then I just clicked on the symbol BUD:VN (which is a symbol in an open portfolio) and the two alerts went off again. There is only one buy/sell at 9:30 am on the raw data.

Isn't medved supposed to backfill and catch up when the app is launched so long as the symbol is in an open portfolio? This was an example of that case then I went and clicked on the symbol and it still was creating the alerts. Pretty sure Medved was open for a qhile before I clicked on the symbol. Jeff
