  1. Awesome on not only the default Free Floating trace option selection, but also tip of the day. Thank you very much.
  2. I think I am inclined to support a comment made my Saty on another thread about keyboard shortcuts. They are not natural for the typical user. However, for me, considering what I had to do to accomplish the task before, it is now a tremendous relief, though awkward, to now just press CTRL+SHIFT to get the number. But I think that the number should be represented probably something along the line of what is suggested in my second post, (or maybe the use of a single keyboard key, which would disqualify my next statement). This way the task would be readily available for new users and the forgetful memory of those that may use the feature now and then, without the need for discovery of the keyboard shortcut or remembering it. As often as I use it I am sure it will be easy for me to remember. but then again, I am getting older. .
  3. Shame! I should have seen that in the last update change-log. Thank you. This is certainly an improvement and I welcome this as opposed to where I was. Will still hold out hope that a better implementation can be found .
  4. Regarding the note above, I spend an awful amount of time assessing charts. Probably an unusual amount of time. When trying to pinpoint areas, the fact that there is no way to pinpoint the exact area with the chart is absolutely frustrating. I do realize that the crosshairs in current configuration serve a different and valuable purpose which gives more information by snapping to the close levels and populating the OHLCV etc values in the Pop up menu. But I am going nuts here having to draw physical or imaginary lines to figuring the points to arrive at the value. Any suggestion to overcome this is more than welcome. My suggestion: Is it possible to have that pop-up box populated with one additional value?: The Price value that the cursor is over (not crosshair at this point) . If this is feasible, then this frustration may be resolved while keeping all of the current features. so we could see: O: 79 H: 80 L: 77 C: 78 V: 89,100 ------ P: 66 ... or whatever the cursor is pointing to.
  5. Thank you. Priceless option to have both for chart scanning.
  6. Thank you VERY much. Any chance of getting : <SYMBOL> <CHANGE> <VOLUME> (<PERIOD>/<FREQ>)
  7. I like the proposal, but I would also like to see an option with volume reference for when scanning stocks not in my watchlist intraday. However, having 'Change' is also a much bigger deal than my need for Volume indication (I also forgot to ask for this implementation). Unfortunately (though fortunately for an effective market), everyone has different methods to the madness of trading so I will graciously take what is offered.
  8. I would like the option to customize what is shown in the Chart title bar. Such as having current 'volume' shown there while removing other information.
  9. Thank you...yeah, it is true, there is really nothing out there like what these guys build.
  10. AH, I see the problem and I am sorry about the confusion. I am referring to the beta Medved Trader.
  11. Yes it is showing up on all of my watchlists/portfolios....That is interesting that it is not happening for you
  12. As with our other favorite program QT, I would like the option to hide the status bars. Personally I do not use them at all, and just as I will be compressing the ribbons to get more real-estate for my heavily populated watchlists, I would also like the option to hide the status bar.
  13. Nice update!!! @Saty, Nice post!!! I definitely agree with you.
  14. @Saty, I am sorry... I should modify my comment and definitely support your request because the overpopulated right-click menu in QT is not the same thing that one sees when right-clicking on a drawn line.
  15. Though I do not use line charts, I think it is a good idea, seeing that we should be able to get an immediate impression of what a chart represents before digging deeper.
  16. nice update. Yeah, I have to agree that when i right-click in qt, I have to think for a moment what the heck I am looking for even after all these years because as you have pointed out, it is so populated. So, I do appreciate the idea of condensing it. I am sure I am not the only one that has to pause when looking through Qt right-click menu. On the other hand, I certainly appreciate the the openness to adding the things users feel are must-haves later on. Thanks for the consideration.
  17. Saty, I think it is fair to say that coming from QT, there has been some adjustments for me and I agree with you that some things feel/felt awkward, but I have now come to the realization that it really boils down to what we were used to. Now, I truly like the Ribbons, seeling as we also have keyboard shortcuts but expecially the quick access toolbar which I think is priceless. Maybe play around with it some more?. eg: If you put the QAt below the Ribbon, you have a lot of room to populate it with so many options.
  18. Thanks Saty for verifying. Thanks for the fix Jerry.
  19. I am curious if anyone else is experiencing issues with level II not populating from time to time. To reproduce: Try linking level 2 to a chart and watchlist, and just cycle through the watchlist, selecting different symbols. I have already reported this as a bug, but curious.
  20. Is it possible to have the single regression channel on historical charts be plotted to where it encompasses the entire period in view on the chart? By default it is showing 20 days. SO if looking at a 3 month chart, only 20 days are considered.
  21. @dundee, thank you but I was just letting you know the link seemed broken, but disregard that because it is working now.
  22. Would LOVE this implementation also. @dundee, the video link works well but the prorealtime link is not working for me.
  23. I have modified the post for the sake of clarity. If you know a platform that uses a gray color set or have an idea with regards to gray surrounding the elements in the image above, would be nice to see it.
  24. If there is a color sets you would like to see in Medved Trader, please feel free to post it here for consideration. Maybe there is something you feel would be easier on your eyes while you work. For the sake of clarity, this refers to the elements in the image below demonstrating the color Set called 'poker'. Please consider adding images to express what you would like to see, because there are so many variations in colors. (Note that color sets was referred to as color schemes in QT)
