Have had issues with MT from time to time, where it acts up on wake from sleep. Lately a bit worse than usual. Have to restart to get it back working .
None of my other programs have this issue . Callback issues?
Running latest beta 9770.100 and Windows 10

Very weird bug. Seems even ADDING a symbol will trigger a fake new high or low alert on an existing symbol

Just realized I was looking in the wrong spot for the default button. 😒
I'll keep it in mind next time I have a chance to test this issue.

The deleted symbol does not remain, but the symbols getting the fake high/low alerts are already in the ports.

This seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle. Same issue with daily high/ low scans

There is no set as default for custom scans . probably should be 😁

no question about it, deleting symbols from an active port, instantly causes bogus NEW HIGH or NEW LOW alerts in unrelated random port symbols.

Still getting a LOT of these bogus alerts , where the days high or low is not even close .
I notice when deleting symbols from a port, it seems to trigger a few of these fake alerts . No idea why that would be.

Maybe you can refer this to them for investigation. I've noticed their L2 via MT after hours can be a bit dicey, and slow
This is the MT API feed vs the TOS L2 book at the same time
refreshing and changing symbols didnt help , so its something on their side not accurate
Think I might have noticed a locked quote (same price both sides) before this error

I thought as much, but as I said, when placed on the Etrade site, I had no problem getting displayed.
Something def not right . Any chance their API is doing something strange?
I'll test more when I get a chance and see if I can duplicate the issue.

I dont often trade options at Etrade, but noticed an issue today, where an order for 7 kept showing up on the level 2 as a 1 lot.
I had the display order size at 0 , which I thought was to default. Not sure, but even when reentering the order multiple times with display size set to 7 and also with display size unchecked, kept getting shown on the book (I was the lone high bid) as 1 lot . As the only high bid , it was easy to see my order.
Etrade is seeing the order as 7 , and the MY Account view shows 7 , so thats not the issue .
I entered the order from the ETRADE website, and it showed immediately at the real size on the book . But not using MT . Had the routing set to Auto , and Day. I noticed also that All or none, does not display at all on the book , but thats probably normal.
In fact, I place an order for 7 (7 WAS the order size as shown in the account view and on Etrade) and a big block (200+) traded immediately at the price when I bid high , and I only got one stinking contract. So its as if the order was on the book for only 1 .
Is there something to this and has anyone seen this problem ?

I'll test this a few more times to see if there's an actual issue here.

I modify existing scans, adding new alerts, but find that it often scrambles the various settings I've made under the params screen . Audio , etc.
Since each portfolio uses its own settings, its a lot of work to go in and fiddle around with all the settings to get it back to normal.
Not sure how you're 'linking' the code alert to the scanner params, but maybe there's a way to make it more robust, so adding/removing alerts doesn't do this .

I already do that on one of the alert windows, I'll try it on the others.
Have the same problem with the All News window, and even though the date /time is on the right and 'small', it resizes full width on its own , and causes the headline column to shrink.
What's the reason for this happening without user intervention? Doesn't seem to affect the other columns, just that one .

I've brought this up before. Ive got a few of these alert logs and I have to constantly ( a few times a day ) adjust the date time column, because when waking from sleep, OR randomly when switching desktops (using a virtual desktop app) or just because it feels like it, that column reverts to FULL WIDTH, after minimizing it.
This is the only window on MT or anything else I run that does this, so I'm pretty sure its something internal to the module you use, and not your programming.
Any way to force this column to stay minimized, and not flip on its own ?

Was working for a few days, now randomly , just stopped for ALL symbols. Tried changing source, no help

Tried the right click thing you mentioned, dont see it . I have the latest beta.
Once again, creating a NEW chart returns the functionality. Creating a copy of the same Historical chart did NOT. So something is getting corrupted in that chart that breaks the options tree.

There is no way to select the months by right clicking when the chain is empty .

Something corrupt in the Historical chart I was using. When I created a NEW Hist chart, the data displays. Very odd random problems are great , aint they ?

Seems kind of random, T works , SCHW doesn't .

It was set to smart source, not yahoo, so I changed it as pictured. Still not working properly for GME and others . The chain works , all data populates, , not the TREE
this is a recent issue, possible they changed something server side ?

Dont want to hijack my own thread, but the problem might be unrelated to sleep.
Have had this happen a number of times before. Something corrupts on its own , and the window response becomes very lagged. Dropdowns refuse to work , or take crazy long to appear. No error messages, just those not respondings as pictured above.
This time , as in the past, the only cure it to reload a SETTINGS layout , using restore, from a few days before.
So don't know why, but some garbage is getting into the system and breaking it.
I saved a copy of the broken layout, if you want to look at it . Sending it by email .
