ok, overwrote that build you sent me with the latest beta , and its working again.
not sure how a fix for the NEWS FILTER busted the charting, but it is what it is

seeing same with some futures charts , @ym , feed is good , charts broke

Updated to that version with the News filter fix.
Today, my #btc.usd charts are not updating realtime , even though the feed is live. ??? getting t&s ,no problem with that
Backfill works, but then no further update
Stocks seem ok

I keep up to date with the betas so whatever you did in Nov was long ago installed.

That one line entry is not holding up very well, in addition to acting screwy and closing the window as you type. Im having to edit the filter in an editor and paste it to get it to work
Im adding quite a few filter blocks and the one line and a bunch of OR statements is hard to maintain
Maybe a screen , where each filter can be entered on a separate line ?
PS I see now that there is a 256 char limit . Not really enough to be useful in blocking all the garbage that comes across.

now Im really confused. Not sure why I never noticed that with charts . Never saw charts changing their appearance as I switched symbols. How would that per symbol thing even show up in a chart window ??
Guess the key here is Im closing the options chain then reopening. Set it to default and looks good

figured out what the deal is. You seem to be saving the layout on a per symbol basis ??? Not what I would expect.
Changing the symbol and bringing up the options screen and the mods (font size, column spacing) are not saved.

Normally would not even be looking at this, but had to do a restore when MT got wonky today, and noticed this r.user.config file grew from 1.4 to 2.4 meg on 12/27.
Just a heads up in case it means anything.

options chain window not remembering size settings on restart

Notice Ameritrade are not showing NASDAQ on their level 2 (only ARCA and EDGE) in the am session via the api. It shows on ThinkorSwim platform
Dont know of any reason for this other than a tech issue on their end

Oddly, while the account view can be font adjusted, the trade ticket can't.

Any reason why a block like this would be missed? I have trade size set to 50,000 and twice this symbol (BSIG) failed to trigger it . Symbol is in charts and live ports .
I tested lower trade sizes and they seem to trigger.
There are volume % increase scans that triggered on this print, but not the TRADE size alert.

I loaded up the latest BETA where this issue is listed as fixed
Still seeing alerts on bad or late prints where the price is well outside the bid/ask
Bid was 18.43 when this triggered on a 17 print

Noticed this a few days now when restarting.

Ok, very simple. This is a long standing issue .
I size the d/t column small, but at random times it just reverts to its full width . Thats what you see in the pic above.
Here I show how I set it before it resizes
Might have something to do with the size of the text in the description field, but cant say for sure
Does this many times in a day.
Only the D/T column does this , the others behave.

That damn date/time column keeps resizing itself 10 times a day .
Can't we make this more robust so it doesn't do this ? Its probably a bug in the window code itself, not something MT is doing.

MT does use some CPU, especially if you're streaming crypto, but....
Nothing like 40-50% . On my 3700x AMD system X570 board, top spike is less than 20% under load

What I've been doing is doing a manual clear of crypto symbols, you can do the whole port in one shot
I assume that gets rid of all the tick data, if not from the database then at least from the data MT has to slog through

Many of the built in scans have Ignore first X minutes of session, but that doesn't work unless you check REG session only.
Really should be two separate filters as I said.
I may want to ignore blocks or price changes for the first 10 minutes, but want the scan to also work during pre and post market .
