HIGH99
I've done this before. My Y axis is on the right. But somehow I hit the scrollbar, and now the most recent candle is way to the left with a big gap between the right edge of the chart. Before I just opened a new chart which fixed it, but now all new charts are this way. How do I get the most recent candle to shift back to the far right side of the chart? Jerry Medved
MT remembers settings, so just closing and opening chart wont do it. You added space on the X axis. Remove it: Click and hold the left mouse button on the X Axis and move to the left.
HIGH99
Done. The axis is hidden. I would have never found it. Thank you.
Jerry Medved
what do you mean by hidden?
HIGH99
HIdden? When I put my cursor over one of the chart times at the bottom of the chart, a translucent horizontal band shows up, covering all of the times. This translucent band then slides back and forth. Remove the cursor, and the band disappears. To me that is hidden, since you cannot see the band all of the time.
Jerry Medved
Ah that. That is just MT highlighting the axis. Sort of like row highlighting, but on charts.
HIGH99
Which is clever. And savvy. But then, I would have not expected less. So who comes up with this genius. Mike, or "Jerry"?
Jerry Medved
the highlighting was mike
Mike Medved
Jerry and I discuss (and argue about) user interface features all the time. What you see is the result of a lot of consideration.
