Patrick Masters
When I first installed the trial, I recalled seeing conditional orders under the trade ticket in one of the default layouts. I assume I accidentally closed it out but cannot seem to figure out how to get it to reappear. What I can do to bring these back. Thank you and sorry for the stupid question. Patrick Masters
Also is there a way to short which stocks are available to short from Ameritrade as well or will I have to actually use ThinkorSwim to check if a stock is ETB for shorts? Jerry Medved
OCO - that is a Bracket order and should show up as such in the Order Type dropdown. As for other OCO or OTA, OTOCA, etc, if your account is enabled for conditional orders, then there will be a checkbox to show conditional and to select the conditional type NOTE: if your account is enabled for "Advanced" features, it will NOT be enabled conditional orders, order routing or special instructions (AON, FOK, DNR). Yes, you read that right. If that is the case, you need to contact client services and have them turn that off, then the next day you should have all the functionality back (it is an overnight processing change on TD Ameritrade servers) We don't have a way to check hard to borrow status on symbols. stock777
Attempt a short at a price well away from the market for a a few shares , see if it goes through I'm finding Ameritrade has a very poor availability on anything but the most liquid stocks .
