Questrade second profile accounts

Hi,

I have two two user profiles with Questrade, both having individual accounts. I can use one profile in MT but I could not add the second profile. I get following error:

"You already have Questrade in list of brokers. There can only be one login entry (with multiple accounts) for Questrade."

As work around, I linked both user profiles on Questrade, now I can view all accounts in primary profile (both website and questrade apps) but they are not showing up in MT.

Any idea what can be done about it?

I tried to verify accounts but MT only populates accounts for primary profile (questrade username/password). It does not populate accounts from a secondary profile that have been linked to primary in Questrade backend.

Do you know if Questrade API used by MT supports managing linked account in single profile?

Alternatively, can more than one questrade profiles be logged in MT at same time? Override that error I noted above.

MT can only login to one Login. If that login has multiple accounts, then all of them should be shown. If your secondary profile is the one that is linked to the primary, then you should be logging in with that secondary profile login into MT, not the primary. 

Questrade API does support multiple accounts per profile.

Hello Jerry,

Account belonging to each profile show up ok in MT when logged in to that profile. Only linked accounts don't populate. They show up in my primary profile when I login on Questrade portals as follows:

My accounts: Margin, RRSP, TFSA

Family accounts: TFSA, RIF

I am not sure if their API offer this capability. May be some other MT user can comment who uses Questrade in in similar way.

I have emailed Questrade API support, hope they can advise if this is supported in their API. Perhaps you can send inquiry from side as well?

hahahahaha.  We haven't gotten a non-formletter response in ages. 

do this. Login with a login that has the multiple accounts listed. then, send me the log;

Go to FILE / HELP => Send Log/Settings to support menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio)

And add this Post’s URL in the comment.
